Now the answer to both those questions comes in one package: the Xanga Skins Directory! Here you can discover a Xanga Skin that’s just right for your site, or even submit your own for others to use. Its like Personals for your Xanga site!

A skins directory! Just what I wanted! You see, I’m not conversant with HTML, so I love that Xanga is so easy to use nevertheless. Thanks, you guys for continuing to make Xanga more user-friendly. I hope Xanga thrives and goes from strength to strength.
To be honest, I kinda wasn’t attracted by Xanga’s old, more cluttered look (the front page, I mean), but after some let-downs from the overwhelmed Blogger server, I decided to try Xanga out. I’m very impressed!
Thanks for such a cool and friendly free service. I’m actually considering paying (one day!!). And I’m trying to spread the word.

to unspoken..i’m not on the xangateam but i’ll answer your question anyway. yes, you have to have premium. without it, all you can do is preview your skin, but you can’t save it.

i tried to make my own skin. and it could be viewed on my website only for a few days and now i can only preview it. why do i need xanga premium. my skin was a simple message on the html not worth paying the premium fare to show.

You should let any member who signed up for Xanga use the skins. I think its downright wrong. What if some people just don’t want to have to buy premium just to change the way your site looks. Its ridiculous. I’m sure you will lose a lot of members if you keep that gay rule. I really hope that you consider changing it. I’m sure you will hear a lot of compaints about this, and all that does is clutter this are up. Thank you.

wow I think who ever is doing the whole xanga skin thing should listen to what every one has to say. You are not responding and it isn’t fair that us non xanga premiums cannot use the skins. This site sucks if i cant get a skin without premium. I know I’m going to sound really dumb but although I’ve done a tiny bit of html years back…I’m unsure about how to actually get to the source page on my xanga. Also, is there some website or something that is a bit like a dummies guide?
I think I need to rephrase my question from before. I have already looked at the tutorial, but what I really wanted to do was tweak the html of the template I chose from the Setup Wizard. I like the way the layout looks, I just want to change a few things like the background and other areas…can you help me with that? When I click on the skins link on my xanga…the source window is empty…where do I actually go, to see the html source of the template?
